Young musical theater company, with an unfortunate name in a post-pandemic context, that finds its origins in the classrooms of the Institut del Teatre. Epidèmia Teatre advocates for and defends a different, daring, and exciting musical theater.

They premiered their first show, 9to5 at the Gaudí Theater in 2018, and it was rescheduled at the Maldà Theater in June 2019. Critics highlighted comments such as: 'Four actresses and one actor delivered with force. If you like musicals with rhythm, don't miss it.'

Subsequently, in February 2019, they premiered the production Bed&Breakfast, a musical with songs by Els Amics de les Arts at the Gaudí Theater. It was said: 'Its future cannot be more hopeful, and surely after this fleeting adventure of bed and breakfast, its happy complicity with the audience points to a stable relationship' (El Periódico).
